The greenest building is the one that already exists. Restoring the 1929 tower kept tons of brick, steel, and history out of the landfill and gave downtown its centerpiece back.
The renovation and the new building were built to LEED standards, which means tighter construction, better insulation, and lower utility bills for the people who live here.
Solar panels blanket the roof of the new building, turning the high-plains sun into clean power for the community.

Everyone is welcome to apply. Hotel Clovis Lofts is an affordable community, so eligibility comes down to household income and size, never age. Call the office and we can tell you in a few minutes whether your household qualifies.
Household income must fall below limits that HUD sets each year for Curry County. They depend on how many people live with you and they change annually, so the surest way to know is to call us with a rough idea of your monthly income. Most people are surprised they qualify.
Rents are set below market under the affordable-housing program and vary by floor plan. They are a fixed amount, not a percentage of your income. Please call for current pricing and availability, and we will go over it together.
